Hi,
I just graphed |x| + y = 2 and I got a straight line! I entered it as
y= -|x|+ 2 because you have to solve the equation for y before
entering it. Then, I entered the exact same equation on my TI-84 Plus
Silver, and it came up with the correct graph. What gives? Is the TI
the smarter of the two calculators, or am I doing something wrong?
Some of the points should be (-3,-1), (-2,0), (-1,1), (0,2), (1,1),
(2,0), and (3,-1).
