I don't understand how you got 10,10sqrt 10^7 but try this. Type in each of the following and press ENTER.
-51 CF
-105 SF
This changes the flag settings. The first one Clears Flag -51 and changes the fraction mark from "," to "."
The second one Sets Flag -105 and changes from exact mode to approximate mode. That's probably what you want if you need to have answers in floating point. At the top you'll see R= (or C=) change to R~ (or C~). You can make the change directly by **holding** the right shift key (above the "ON") and pressing ENTER (-->NUM). Do it again and you're back in exact mode. If you press/release the right sift key then press -->NUM it will convert the 10*10sqrt^7 to 50.11...
You can also change your flags by going to MODE --> FLAGS. But don't make many changes at first, until you understand better what they do.
That should get you going.
