There was some discussion about this on Usenet not too long ago. Go
to groups.google.com, enter comp.sys.hp48 for the group you want to
view, then enter "clear all variables" (w/o quotes) in the search in
this group box.
The suggestion to use a separate directory and the CLVAR command
seemed, to me, the most useful.
