Re: [50g] adding caps to equations?

2009-03-06 by jatspic

Hi Don,

I am using the formula that was already in the calculator(electricity formulas).
I am using the connectivity software that also came with my HP50g. I really don't have a clue as to how to use it, I just assumed that I could modify the electricity formulas ie: adding more capacitors to the series parallel capacitor formula. How do I modify the formulas and do I store them on my SD card or computer? As to transfering files I have not tried this, the little bit of info I recieved said something about changing from kermit to xserve, not really sure about those either. Sorry for being so non specific, this is a whole new realm for me. thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
Tony

I can't say I'll have an answer for you but you can try to be more specific...like what program are you using?

What doesn't work when you connect the hp50 to the pc? Are you not able to do anything, transfer files for instance? Or, are you just not able to alter a formula thru the pc?
