Press the VARS key?

Are your text file names longer than 8 chars? Is that what you are
referring to? If so, the built in filer doesn't show long file names
(long story. . .) and the only way to see them is to use a specialized
filer like this one here: http://www.hpcalc.org/details.php?id=6524 
(which incidentally enough happens to be something else I worked on
