You can create a TXT file on the PC, store it in the SD and then read it in the 50g. It only has some character issues, but is possible. Furthermore, there are a lot of special readers for the calc, in order to view text in better ways.
Creating EQs in the PC and transfer them to the calc is kinda complicated. At least my way it is.
I have an emulator in my PC (emu GaaK) and I create the equations in the emulated calc, and then transfer them to the real one. It sounds stupid, but I only did it a few times, and actually is simpler than typing directly to the calc, because there are some key shortcuts in the emulator.
Besides, the EQ are special files which I don't know how exactly are saved, so that is the only way I know of doing it.
I be glad to learn other ways though.

Hello,
I have a 48GX and just bought the 50G.
Quick question about the SD card.... can info be maniuplated on it
from a computer? Meaning can (say) put a small text file on there that
the calculator can read, or is it only good for storing data?
Lastly, is there any way possible to create equations on a computer and
then transfer them over to the 50G for use?
Thanks so much,
Brad!
