Re: [50g] How do I index my files on HP48GII

Hi W.

Yes, you can make a list of the programs that you want to run, then access thru the list, request any input data and then display/store the result for later use.
Storing data requires creating a file and this is possible, however, there is a limit to the number of files you make.  I did this with investment data on a 50G and simply ran outta file names.  You then would have to copy files to your PC and do some file deleting.
Start by programming simple stuff and build into the complex as you go along.  Try it with one program at first and get that to work.  Then add a second program.  Etc.

The HP48GII is pretty much the same thing as the HP50g. The problem I've run into it is not doing the calculations but finding them again. So is there any way of making a database? I would want something like a list of programs with a path to them. The best calculator I've found for this is the HP200LX which has a field with description- equation on the screen.
