So, it might be possible for someone to modify the 261e to allow external sources?
The hairbrained thought I have here is for those who want the analog osc that maybe a 258v could provide, and all it's fm'ness, but with the missing link of the 259 waveshaping?

Audio kahunas are probably functionally equivalent to extreme audio rate fm, plus some of the benefits from the beach!

Interesting thought, "extreme"  factory versions of 200e stuff...
