I own a mid-size system (259e's, 292e's, 281e's, 225e, 227e, 210e, 255 and 291e) and certainly am aware of some issues that I hope are just a software update away from being solved. The plywood issue doesn't bother me one bit. The wobbly knobs were a little unsettling at first, but I've also noticed some of them you can actually push/click to access additional menus, so I guess that is the explanation for the wobble. My biggest (personal) peeve is the aliasing, which will fortunately be a thing of the past with the 261e. I must confess, though, some of these waves, when you find a "sweet spot", can be beautiful and wicked (if that makes any sense to you!) at the same time.. Another was the nonconventional tracking of the osc. (1.2 V/oct), but as I explained before, there's a quick fix by using a scaling processor. I love the 227e..........
