whoops - forgot to cover the other stuff.

Installation is a snap.  Don uses keyed card edge connectors that mate to a
power strip that runs down the length of the boat internally. - you CAN'T
plug them in backwards.  Some of the modules have internal ribbons
connectors  that mate with interface boards on the back of the boats - like
the midi jack board on the 255 and the rear mounted output jacks on the 227,
but that's also no problem.  As far as mounting them - four screws and
you're making music.

It's all very personal, but I would think a 225 would be an necessity on a
one boat system. As far as six VCOs - the internal bus on the 225 can only
handle four, so you'd have a problem with remembering presets on two of
them. But remember - all of the Buchla VCOs are dual. You buy four, you're
getting eight.  The 200's at cal Arts were humungus and they only had 5 dual
VCOs.
