if you have a yahoo mail account, your ID is the first part of your email

ID@...or click "My Groups" at www.yahoogroups.com and register. then browse thru
all the lovely groups and sign up for the ones you like. yahoogroups will
keep a record of them so when you come back to the site you'll see all your
groups neatly listed for you for easy maintenance.
