WTB: MOTM 650

2017-08-31 by Solar Marquardt

Maybe I’m getting greedy, but I’m expanding my rig, and I’d like to acquire a second MOTM-650!

A few years ago I picked up a nice specimen using this group. Anyone willing to part with theirs? Needs to be in good condition. Thanks guys,

-Sol

Hi everyone, I’m looking for a replacement "temic chip" for my MOTM-650 (it’s the square chip thingy on the back that pops out using a chip-puller). While I was setting temperaments mine seized up and can’t be rebooted. I’ve tried the usual suspects, and nobody seems to be able to get their old chip-writers to write me a new chip (ancient tech).

Maybe someone here has an spare written chip, or a broken 650 with a working chip, or even perhaps a functional 650 I could buy? Thanks...

Hi all, I’m back and looking to acquire a THIRD motm-650. Yeah I’m out of control, I know. Let me know if you have a minty-one you're willing to sell for ~$500 plus shipping.

Also this would be replacing a mom-730 in my case, if anyone is interested in buying that. It’s perfect condition, built by Paul himself just a few years ago with his final parts. I don’t use it much anymore as I’ve got an external sequencer now. Thanks,
