As many of you on the list own rare (meaning obscure) analog synths, I wonder how many proud Ionic Performer (one of the rarest of all analog synths-alleged to be a knock off of a ems vc3? but with a full 49 note sized keyboard ect) that were
made and sold here in the US by the guy in NJ who was a US ems dealer in the early 70's..I have not searched lately but as of last year all the online synth museum and analog synth archive sites still had virtually no info or photos! I myself actually
got my hands on one back in 75'..a local fellow owned one..i have lost track of him..oddly he was about 20 yrs old at the time..at age 16 he had won the world accordian championship in Brazil (I am not making this up.) and added the Performer to his act..i.e. weddings ect..
