Well, I didn't get all the kits out I wanted to, being slowed by a nasty
cold and 2 fighting
kids (off all week). But some got stuff today I hear, some will get stuff
Fri. and Sat. If you
are looking for a '820 or '300, plan on shopping or football. I did ship 38
kits in 3 days.
Next week I will start '820 kitting and back to work on assembled modules
(yes, I do get
orders for them!) It's hard to solder with a cold (for me at least).
Thankfully, it's on the decline.
Stooges rejoice! Blank panels were delivered to me today. They are textured
on both sides. Now
I have to decide if I'm going to send screws in bulk or not. They are going
to Moe on Friday.
Since this question has come up several times: if you order ∗any kit but a
'300∗ between now
and Dec. 10th, it will be shipped before I disappear. I am 100% booked on
assembled orders for
delivery this year (one user is building a 5-voice all assembled synth, and
he just loaded me up).
Older customers will recall I'm sure, that in the past I have had a "Dec.
Sale". Instead, what I am
planning is a "3 Year Anniversary" sale in Feb. But don't let that prevent
you from ordering. My
children need shoes.
The 1U mult (MOTM-910) will "go official" in about 3 weeks. I'm NOT going to
ship any this year.
The assembly house won't get the parts until the 12th. I expect them back to
me around Jan. 10th.
The '101 panel is at paint. I will work on getting the pcb to the shop
around Dec. 8th. Over the holidays,
I will have time to test it and write the manual. I expect it to ship around
Jan. 15th.
The next module after that will be the mixer, followed by the VC Pulse
Divider and the Random
Vibrato Source (HA! Didn't expect that one, did you!) and THEN the dual VCA.
The MOTM review is still on track to be on the street around Jan 18th in
Electronic Musician. Yes,
I have read it. I did make "editorial suggestions" in places. On the whole,
I think it is what you
all expect to hear (pun alert!). Hopefully, they will use some of Joe
Pavone's SKB shots :)
I admit I have been crabby but I'll get over it. I did buy a new studio toy
(EMu E-Synth Ultra sampler)
and maybe that will calm me down (never had a sampler before).
Beat the hell out of t.u. (Sorry, obligatory college football reference)
