Er...that's my ∗point∗!! :)

Maybe JH knows a good answer. I do know that the CA3280s used are kind of
strange.
Bernie Hutchins in Electronotes called them ' the most slippery ICs ever
designed", meaning
they have many undocumented...errr...."quirks".
