I disagree to the extent that the web is the perfect place for a niche-market
business to exist. Look at Synthesis Technology. His whole business exists
on the web. Establishing that base he is now able to advertise in magazines.
While Serge has been around a while the lack of information on the web, in
my opinion, has significantly minimized the amount of business that they do.
By the way, I purchased www.modsynth.com in June of this year. Its not live
yet, but I do have plans... So if search around you can still find domain
names.
