Subject: Don't need to skinkin' wire!

Some of you have expressed interest in '420 kits without all of the wires.
Specifically, the RG-174 coax is what is missing.

So, if you want a kit missing the 4 little coax (there will be 1 long coax
in there,
but that is spoken for) send me an email.

BTW: just finished 5 min. ago calibrating and testing the finished product.
I am
building a '110 so I can make noise. It self-oscillates in LP mode, and acts
like a 4-octave VCO!
I got it to track whithin 1hz from 50Hz to 800Hz. Then it falls apart
because there is
no sophisticated circuitry as in the VCOs. But still sort of fun!. The max.
oscillation freq.
on the 1 prototype was 17Khz. Dave can zap squirrels as hoped for.

The reversing attenuator is much fun to play with, although I did a minor
boo-boo on the pcb
layout and you have to "cross" wires up to the front panel but other than
that it works 100%.

Lastly: I can get Bourns to make up cermet pots, like the blue conductive
plastic ones in the VCO/EG
with the solder lugs. This will releive terror in the heart of some folks
bending those itty bitty wires.
Of course, they want 8 weeks lead time! But the price is no different than
the pcb pots, so guessing
I can sell then at some later date I'll order some tomorrow.
