Those look really cool Andrew. Thanks for sharing. I would be more
inclined to think the "I" shape would work best. But, it looks like it
might be too thick like the others you tested.

Subject: [motm] Module dividers
Greetings all,
Well, I found in the archives that others have also thought about
"visually"
separating the various modules in their MOTM setups....
After calling around, I've made two trips to a local hobby shop and bought
about $20 of this plastic trim that is used for models. It's called
"Plastruct". Here's a site that has some pics of the various shapes offered:
http://www.piko.de/d/plastruct/s-plastruct.htm
I bought various shapes and sizes, but have found that none of them have
worked so far. One of the problems is that once I get to a big enough size
to
fit the thickness of the MOTM panels, the part that is wedged in between the
modules it too thick, not allowing the modules to line up with the rack rail
mounting holes. (bummer!) For the Plastruct (U or H shape) pieces that
are
smaller, they wont fit around the MOTM panel or they just fall off ("T"
shapes wedged between modules).
Anyway, I just thought I'd pass this info on to the list. It seems that one
of the size/shape combos should work for this purpose, I just can't figure
out which. Maybe someone else will have better luck than I did. : )
Has anyone had any other ideas or success in accomplishing this?
Uhm.... bye.
(I never know what to write here!) : )
