I never picked up any interference on my Hot Springs, and always got a very
clean sound with no "twang." One thing you can do is build a Faraday cage
for it-make sure that the springs are in a grounded enclosure. I'm told that
even foil lining the inside of the enclosure will work. Beware of shorts, of
course.
You can add the feedback loop and those kinds of features with the
amp/mixing circuitry I mentioned before. This whole thing is on my "someday"
list.

Yeah... those Paia kits are there for the price. Versatile too. I use my Hot
Springs as a radio receiver. It picks up RF like an antennae and I have
re-arranged and changed the lead layout 3 times. Gave up on that one.
