Subject: [motm] ...and yet another new member....

Okay, since there have been so many other new members, I'll speak up now. :
)

I've been lurking for the past few months soaking up all the GREAT info
here. I find that this is one of the most friendly and helpful lists that I
subscribe to. This is a great thing, as I love discussing modular synths and
synths in general.

I ordered and built my first MOTM modules (900, 800, 410) a while back and
had no problems at all. I just received most of my second order (420, 110)
and will probably start on the 110 tonight. I have a 300 on the way but it is
on backorder. I'm also tempted to order a few more modules to beat the price
increase. ; )

I have a ring modulator that built in the early 80's from Craig Anderton's
book Electronic Projects for musicians. I plan to attach this to a MOTM
panel, if only for sentimental reasons. I haven't used it in years and I'm
sure the MOTM 110 will blow it out of the water.

I also plan to dabble in my own (simplistic!) designs and modifications to
existing circuits. I'm more of a techhead than an engineer, so I'll probably
be asking for pointers once I get to this point.

Anyway, thanks to Paul for offering such great modules. For some reason
after working a week at my job, the process of building them is an incredible
stress reducer.

I'd also like to thank Larry Hendry for talking to me about MOTM in the
first place and getting me excited enough to take the plunge. I'm very
grateful for his help and friendly nature.

Here's looking forward to many future discussions, : )
