all,
I have a few of the concussor small 8 step sequencer jobbies. One with 8 cv outs and one with 2 sets of 8 gates out. They're nice because they're basic, small and cheap. they're basic and fun to experiment with and because of their 8 step un quantized nature, they keep you away from trying to write songs and instead make you think of twisted ways to patch them up. Much more fun to experiment with in a modular way then say my 777's sequencer. Anyone not too familiar with the workings of analog sequencers, I suggest these as a great place to start. More than one can be linked to make longer patterns and they fit with all the brand "D" stuff. Great learning tools (For me at least), they've really got me interested in what the DoMoas can do, maye even a little intimidated. only downside, 1/8 jacks, but hey, for little over 100 bucks you can't go wrong. Lots of blinking different colored LED's too
