Paul, Can you be a little more specific in your recommendation. Do you mean
on the AC side only or on the DC side of the supply. It seems to that the
AC case ground is completely isolated from the DC side ground. Of course,
if properly wired, all the cases should be common at ground. I was
considering making the DC ground common at the PS as well. Is that what you
mean?

In general, multiple supplies need to have a common ground

connected on the little pcb in the supply itself.
