Jim,
All the MIDI/CV converters you list are excellent choices and I don't think you
would go wrong with any of them. I have the Encore and it works wonderfully. Kyle
Jarger, maker of the JKJ is a friend of mine and he does great work. I think it is
a matter of what you are looking for. I kinda put them into the following
classifications:
JKJ - Great for single voice stuff and fairly inexpensive
Kenton - Great for one to two voices works well (I'm only going on heresay on this
one, I haven't used one myself)
Encore - The biggest and most expensive. You can't go wrong but it will cost more.
If Tony would add exponential portamento and a SoundDiver adaptation, it would be
heaven! Note, these are possible since it only requires software.
