I found Synthtech while searching for datasheets on the SSM2044 (used in
early-80s Korg gear that I end up fixing for folks). I decided to look at
the rest of the site...
If I recall, my initial email to Paul said something like "this is the
best-looking stuff I've ever seen, and (referring to industrial
control equipment, actually) I've seen a LOT of stuff" by way of
introduction. Somehow between then and now I found myself working on some
stuff for him, and I couldn't be happier.
At last count, I had a 110, 120 (a 100 now 101 backordered since
OCTOBER ;) a 300, a pair of 320s (2nd-favorite) , a 410 (my favorite
module that I may build into one or more of my Korg Polysixes), a pair of
420s, backordered 440s, and the 900. I'll be adding to these of course,
when I find the time to build some more.
Crow
p.s. in reference to the SF MOTM meeting, I have one of Chris MacDonald's
Minis about 90% built. Should be a nice little machine. Takes forever to
assemble that PCB, though.
