OK, so it is real. Don't worry paul, we all come to you for the best and I
don't think you will lose customers to this new guy. Look at the percentage
of your customer who buy the kit versions of your products versus the built
ones. If people want cheap, they will go to doepfer right. Cool ideas with
less than satisfactory implementation.
I tell everybody I know in music about MOTM and try to always hype it to the
fullest. All of my synth maniac friends are amazed at the quality of my
whole modular, in particular the smooth constant tones the VCO produces!!! I
will go with everything MOTM in my set up for the main structure for as long
as I can see ahead. I am always open to other products with different sonic
characteristics, but I need the stabilty and quality of MOTM for my road
gigs.
Bottom line is I think all of your current customers are customers for life
or for as long as they have money. For me at least! Thanks for the great way
of building and looking at modular Paul. I would not feel so wise about the
future of it without your copany and bold influence on my equipment
standards.
