Subject: Paul's getting twitchy
From: "Paul Schreiber" <synth1@...

I have pleaded several times in the past about this, but got ZERO response.
Since the VCOs were not out yet, I kind of let it slip.
BUT......
Now you got VCOs, everyone's has stayed holed up beeping and booping,
so now......
∗I NEED AUDIO SAMPLES OF MOTM SOUNDS ASAP∗
a) CD-R "preferred" because I then can rip into MP3. Cassette not too
thrilled, but can use it. No DAT, sold mine.
b) If you don't want people to know it's you making that horrible mess, then
I won't put your name on the site.
c) You can use OTHER gear, all I ask is that it's MOSTLY MOTM. We got no
filters, so that's expected.
d) You can email me .WAV files. I request 22Khz, 16-bit mono format. I can
rip ONLY a stereo, 44K, 16-bit .WAV
into MP3. No CDR? Zip disk is OK. I'll even ∗return it∗. Got a MP3 ripper?
Send MP3!
e) This is my #1 REQUEST I GET FROM POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS. I am busting my
tail for you, ∗please∗ bust a
little for me <sob sob sniff wimper>.
f) I don't need 16 tracks a la Wendy Carlos, Emmo, Tomita, Erasure or YMO.
Sound snippets are actually better, because
of shorter download time. You can use d∗∗∗∗∗l stuff, Roland x0x crap, I'm
not picky (well, no Nord!). LOTs of requests are for "processing"
stuff as opposed to "generating" stuff. Let's hear so mangling going on!
RM/120/700 stuff!
g) INCENTIVE TIME: best 3 efforts gets a FREE SET OF RACK RAILS. I'm
offering $100 out-of-pocket.
Gentlemen, start your patchcords!!
