I spent a lot of time in my youth trying to identify that soundtrack. I
finally concluded, perhaps erroneously, that it is original music. I bought
the "soundtrack album" and was at first saddened to discover tat it wasn't
music, but a long sketch about going to see Holy Grail. Once I recovered, I
was laughing like crazy, but I still would like to get that music. I was
hoping the Criterion laserdisc would isolate the music, but no such
luck-they used the extra audio tracks to let some of the guys discuss the
film in a running commentary.

OK you are kidding about that, but if anyone knows what that great and noble

sounding orchestral piece is in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" near the
end when King Arthur sails to Stalker Castle and exits the boat to walk up
to
the castle, I really would like to know. Thanks.
