Subject: ∗∗MOTM-820 VC Lag PCB ISSUE∗∗
Well, it's good news/bad news time again...sigh.....
Just received the MOTM-820 VC Lag pc boards. There is a error on my part (L
O N G story).
The error is that there needs to be 2 adjacent pins on the bypass IC tied
together.
This is easily accomplished by "blobbing" solder (the no-clean type) on the
2 pins of the IC.
[For some of you, this will come naturally].
I will have a seperate sheet with the instructions for performing the mod. I
∗really∗ don't want
to toss these $700 worth of boards in the trash!
Other than this, it works like a dream. The kit is easy and fast to build.
If you haven't ordered yours,
the price is $149 kit and $199 assembled (we do the blobbing for you!).
Of course, I will correct this when these boards run out.
