I thought so. I played in a "dance" band for 9 years. We had about 3
songs that we just "had to" sequence in one part or not do them. The
drummer disliked them all as click was his tempo indicator.
Sounds like you already have the click and just want to amplify it enough
to drive a LED. If your drum machine or whatever you are using for a click
source has a different click for the one beat, it would be cool to do it
with 2 LEDs --- so 1, 2, 3, 4, was red, green, green, green, red, green....
etc. Of course, that would double your circuitry.

Yes, you're correct but in this case I'm the drummer!
I hate headphones - they hurt my ears after about 1/2 hour and you can't
head bang at all!
