Actually, I have an idea (go figure). Forget messing with the regular
blanks. Leave them alone. Instead, make up a special 1U or maybe 2U MOTM
blank panel with a nice name plate attached with a place to stamp in a
serial number. Or order them with sequential serial numbers up to say 150
(or as high as you think the customer count will go).
Offer them for sale to customers with the oldest original order dates
getting the lowest numbers. I would buy one for my system. You could even
have a prorated price so the more modules you have purchased, the less they
cost. Something really nice. Better than a decal. Since we have
purchased the best modular going today, lets have a nice logo plate that
says "sh∗t, this is nice stuff."
