Paul (and every one else),
I think 12 u is a good length.. im thinking that its not tooo critical
because we could just cut them if we need some weird length. But 24 u wide
would be good I guess. This is the traditional Moog width?
As for the panel with a logo on it.. maybe on the Powersupply panels since
there is a lot of open space to put the logo. You would have to let us send
in our powersupply panels to get screened first of course... It would look
very cool IMHO. As for blank panels, most of us aren't going to have blank
space for too long of a time because we're such feaks about this stuff (I
know I'm not the only one) so I think it might be a waste.. But why not use
up that space thats available on the PS panel??
Also on the PS topic.. Maybe when you come out with the rails you could
come out with a PS in an enclosure that could be mounted in the cabinet with
the switch and power cord jack on wires to a 1u panel. Save front panel space
and would give you the opportunity to mount the PS almost anywhere so you
could reach all the modules easily or for better balance or who knows...
Just a thought, since lots of people (including me) want to build a nice
cabinet to showcase their beautiful MOTM systems....
cheers, (haha, no I'm not british)
