An original MOTM-800 would generate an ASR envelope
from a gate, an AD envelope from a trigger, or an ADSR
from a gate+trigger combo.
An original MOTM-800 will only have a trigger and
ground wire connected to the trigger input jack. A
modified unit will also have a (typically yellow) wire
connected to the top (switching) lug of the jack.
A while back, I posted detailed instructions on how to
modify an original unit for ADSR.
