I personally don't think that slanting the top towards the "user" really helps much
from an ergonomic point of view. It certainly looks cool but, once your hand is
over your shoulder height, your arm tires quickly, no matter how the panel is
angled. If a slanted top will bring your arm down, that may help but I don't think
you will be able to see what you are tweaking as well. So, do it if you like the
looks, not necessarily for ergonomic reasons.

Tuning a sequencer in a high position can be very tiresome on the arms, unless you
have a quantizer (hint, hint)....
