Hi all,
Someone just forwarded a list of features for the Future Retro sequencer
(777 w/o monosynth) that's forthcoming from the Flickinger family:
=================================================================
∗Pattern blocks-link multiple patterns to loop in realtime.
∗Pattern shifting-moves patterns left or right, in realtime, from where the
currently are.
∗An added note entry method.
∗Step LED's will blink sequentialy to show what step is currently being
played.
Front panel will have these 1/4" outputs for analog and modular users
CV
Gate (selectable between positive gate and S-trig)
Trigger
Accent
Accent/Gate 2
16th note Clock (for arpeggiators, analog sequencers or divider circuits)
Reset (For reseting analog sequencers or dividers)
Back panel will feature the following:
Midi In/Out/Thru and Din sync out.
The sequencer will be able to perform as a interface as well for connecting
just
about any gear to any other gear. The Unit can perform as a midi to CV
converter, Midi to Din Sync converter, Midi to analog clock, or control
other
midi gear. Expected price is $300.
=================================================================
Looks like a winner!!!!!!!!!
David.

"[A] synthesizer can be connected to a computer. This means that the
musician can play his instrument long before a concert, because the computer
can play the instrument again at the right time... The musician can sit in
the audience and listen to the concert. He can even be hundreds of miles
away, eating dinner or taking a nap."
