I hate to trash a piece of equipment, but I had a vp-70 and it was absolutelyhorrible for tracking and instrument other than an unfiltered vco it rarelytracked anything accurately (guitar, bass, synth, voice) and constantlyjumped around in pitch no matter how I set the pitch bend options. I hastilysold it to buy my first MOTM-300 -Nate

Lucky you!  I remember when that came out, but never saw onein person.  I
have a Roland VP-70 coming, which is MIDI only but does a similarfunction.
Will be interesting to see how well that works with my Pulse andSidStation.
Of course I could always use a MIDI to CV converter to get backto MOTM land
