Subject: New track online using 440 filter

From: "David Bivins" <dbivins@...>
Date: 2000-03-21

Hey all,

I've put a new track on mp3.com that uses the 440 filter. Specifically, it
is the sound that is ∗not∗ the kick right at the beginning of the track (it
goes the whole track through, but it's isolated at that point). In a
nutshell, it's a couple ring-modulated sources fed through the 120 with 3
sub-octaves "live" and cross-modulated and then into the 440 which is
modulated by the 320 (sine for cutoff, tri for resonance). The whole kit and
kaboodle then travels all the way back to the 110 where it began.

The track is called "Lean On It." It's the first track listed at the first
URL below. WARNING: It's repetitive techno music. In fact, it may even be
obnoxious. So consider yourself warned--you can't accuse me of wasting five
minutes of your aural life now :)

David.
