Perhaps. But that's not the proper use of the GATE input.

READ the
manual. This circuit generates SQUARE WAVES. The ultimate clipping device.

The module is ∗designed for VCOs/LFOs as the input, NOT audio∗. If you DO
put audio in there,
it will clip the bejezus out of it. Bivins thinks this is a good thing!
