I agree! I think I contributed to this by pointing out to some listmembers a
few months ago that this was the MOTM list, and not the Doepfer list. I
shouldn't have made such an issue of this, and most comments I've seen
recently regarding other synths have been in the context of MOTM features, or
using them in conjunction with MOTM.

As the biggest mouthed off topic poster on this list, I will try to keep to
topic in the future. I will however strongly state my preference for
features, and I hope others will too (especially those in disagreement with
me).

That said, I have really enjoyed seeing the "profiles" of list members, and
would encourage other lurkers to let us know what you're doing musically, and
what your thoughts are regarding MOTM (and related EM).

I also noticed that several people are using MOTM to process other sounds --
I think this could be a very interesting subject. After a conversation
several years ago, as a whim, I tried plugging the individual outputs of a
drum machine into my ARP and Serge (somewhat unorthodox connections like the
FM inputs of VCOs), I found this to be much more interesting than I'd
imagined, if not the kind of thing that I usually do.

Glad to see so many others posting!
