I think this was done a few months back, but I couldn't find the evidence ...

MOTM: one of every module except -700, plus 2 extra -800's
Case: SKB pop-up mixer case (just starting to fill my second)

Other gear includes: Blacet & Wiard modulars, Korg MS-20/-50/SQ-10, EML101,
Arp Odyssey (current MOTM controller keyboard since it's my only 1V/Oct
synth), Prophet 600, CZ-101, PAiA Theremax, Rickenbacker 4001 basses ('68 &
'78), RMI Electra Piano 368, Clavinet D6, Vox Jaguar, Taurus pedal
controller, and a violin that's older than all those combined ...

Fave FX: Echoplex EP-3, EH Bass Microsynth, Lovetone Meatball, Lexicon
Vortex, Yamaha E1010, A/DA STD-1, Frostwave Resonant Filter, Z. Vex Seek
Wah & Wooly Mammoth, Coloursound fuzz/wah, Jax wah/vol/surf/siren, DOD 670
Flanger, Mutron II Phasor

Musical style: unrepentent rocker (punk, psych, space, garage, acid,
bubblegum, improv, etc.); also dabble in most everything from country to
dub, but nothing very techno. I am most interested in integrating
synths/electronics (both realtime and sequenced; both improvised and
orchestrated) into a full-band format, often while playing another
instrument simultaneously (CV pedals rule!).

Current bands: Dogbreath (bassist - punkrock, dood!), Go Commando
(bass/keys/synth/violin - varied pop/rock w/amazing female singer)

Previous bands/collaborations include: Mongoloid (synth/keys/guitar - Devo
tribute), Sternklang (synths - improv-noise-Krautrock-xploitation),
Primordial Undermind (violin/electronics - heavy psych jam rock), Billy Jah
(synths/processing - songs of that evil hack from Long Island
done/butchered dub-stylee), Monoshock (guest keys/synth/violin -
Stooges-meets-Hawkwind heavy psych rock), Glands of External Secretion
(guest synth/processing - improv/noise), Drags (guest electronics - mutated
garage rock), Liquorball (guest synths - horrible improv rock noise), Space
Dust (tour keys/violin/synth - space/psych rock from New Zealand),
currently guesting on projects by Don Falcone (Spirits Burning, Spaceship
Eyes) and Russ Tolman (ex-True West) ...

Synth/EM Gods: Stockhausen, Subotnick, Eno, Paul Beaver, Ralf and Florians
Schneider & Fricke (first two Popol Vuh albums, anyway), Simeon, Joe Byrd
(United States of America, Field Hippies), Del Dettmar (Hawkwind), Tim
Blake (Gong), Schulze, Alan Ravenstine (Pere Ubu), Robin Amos (Girls, Shut
Up, Cul de Sac), Doug Walker (Alien Planetscapes), Richard Franecki & Grant
Richter (ex- & current- F/i)

other musical likes: wild 50's rock'n'roll/R&B, 60's classic garage &
psych, envelope-pushing jazz (Ornette, 60s Trane, 70s Miles, Ayler, Dolphy,
Cecil Taylor, Sun Ra), Velvet Underground, Chrome, 70's US punk, John
Fahey, Metabolismus, Tim Buckley, ParliamentFunkadelic, Motorhead, current
Japanese psychedelia (Ghost, Overhang Party, High Rise, etc.), Hank
Williams, Flamin' Groovies, Black Sabbath, Faust, etc. etc.

Reasons for building MOTM: 1) modulars rule, 2) soldering is fun, 3) to
have gear to integrate with my existing patchables/modulars, 4) to have
more processing gear, 5) it's one of the 5(with B,P,S,W?) domestic makers
of analog modulars (and of the two I don't have, one's too expensive and
the other's too cheap - for me, anyway)

other likes: good American beer (Anchor Steam to Yuengling),
IndianThaiChineseVietnamese food, hiking, cycling, camping (as long as it's
no more than 50ft. or so from the car), BBQ chicken (of which I am a master
- MASTER!), cats & dogs, The X-Files, vinyl LP's & 7"s, naps, old
buildings, Chesapeake Bay crabs, making crappy old furniture look decent,
sushi, weird movies (both high- and low- brow), a good book (Haruki
Murakami, Carlos Fuentes, James Ellroy, to name 3 recent faves), fog over
the Bay ...

dislikes: computers, self-righteous humorless people (especially
prohibitionists & religious fanatics) and those who are unable to grasp the
consequences of their actions or inactions, weak coffee, corporate
products, professional sports, commercial radio

As I stated above, my main interest is integrating (modular) synths into a
full-band (with "real" instruments) situation, and I'd love to discuss the
issues that involves with anyone who's interested. Of course, I like
making strange sounds alone in a dark studio, too.
