Subject: More Attenuator/Mixer/Distributer daydreams

Regarding the graphic I sent around yesterday, here's another feature that
hit me at 2AM.

The mode switch as shown flips the quad reversible-attenuators between MIXER
mode (where the ∗outputs post-attenuator∗ are tied together), DISTRIBUTER
mode (where the ∗inputs pre-fader∗ are tied together) and ATTENUATORS where
the four sets of IN-LEVEL-OUT are ∗totally independent of each other.∗

How about if, in Attenuators mode, for any one of the four stages that you
do NOT plug an input jack into, the knob & output jack act as a -10~+10 bias
voltage source?

I think you could squeeze a lot of flexible function out of a module like
that with minimal electronics.
