Thanks, Terry. You're right. I reset the default settings and the problem went away. I confirmed your hypothesis: Turned on the arpeggiator and problem reappeared. Now I know. Those confounded limited UI's are a pain in the way the multitude of settings are hidden.

If the Arpeggiator is assigned to group 1,it could behave this way. Might
want to check and be sure it is set to off.
Having fun with mine right now with that configuration. Even when extrenal
clock is selected, it seems te revert to the internal pulse when nothing
is sent to the ext. clock input.
