Gang,

Attached are 4 fairly small JPEGs detailing the flat rails from a Moog
Modular "console" cabinet. The right side of both a lower and upper
cabinet are shown along with details of the hinge on the very bottom of the
lower cabinet (a very useful feature!) and the middle brace. I hope these
don't clog anyone's net connection to download.

Note that two types of rails are used, one for the "edges" and a
double-wide rail for the middle. The middle brace is 1 3/8" deep. I don't
know that we really need the double-wide version for MOTM rails. Anyway,
what I wanted to show was how a simple, tapped, flat piece of metal railing
can be used for module mounting in wood cabinets. Yes, the module mounting
screws are fairly short but they seem to hold the modules on this 30 year
old beast pretty well!

Let me know if you have questions about the pics.

Eric
