Paul, my thought is that once these Euro dudes see the light, they will move on to one of the "serious" formats. Euro is the gateway drug. Serge, Buchla, Modcan, or MOTM are the "bog boys", and out there, MOTM is known to be the best. So keep the 5u alive. Move them to SMT if you have to, (so you can stuff PCB's behind Eu and 5u panels) but find a way to keep MOTM on the shelf!
eMOTM just 'aint the same.
