Well, that probably was my Interpolating Scanner.
After many years of waiting, I have decided to offer PCBs for this, myself:

It does a linear crossfade over 9 inputs.

I still have boards for sale. The downside, of course: It's just blank PCBs, and it's not a very easy project to build, either.
