Subject: Re: stacked-film caps for MOTM-410?

Paul -

Try http://www.dragonflyalley.com/synthModulesBillOfMaterials.htm

and more specifically,

http://www.dragonflyalley.com/boms/MOTM410BOM.xls

The exact part numbers and availability vary from time to time. When Will put these BOMs together, he checked and I double-checked all the parts. But by now things have changed:

- the 10uF electrolytics are obsolete... I'm pretty sure these will do fine: Mouser Part# 75-515D106M050JA6AE3 - and I believe the lead spacing is right.

Digikey has the .33uF Polyester Film Caps... but is out of the .22uF ones. But they're 50V, 5% with 7.5mm lead spacing - I'll bet this will work: Mouser# 539-167224J63A-F 63V, 5%, 7.5mm lead spacing. To make sure, ask Paul.

The yellow box caps can be tricky to find... currently, Mouser has the .047uF Part# 80-R82EC2470DQ60J but is out of the .1uF and .47uF. Digikey has them all if you don't mind your Yellow Box Caps being blue <g> - but then sometimes, as Jimmy would say, yellow is not so mellow - anyway.

I just double-checked the polystyrenes - Mouser has 'em.

Bill
