I've posted a detailed scenario in the past, I will do so again to ensure that this issue isn't down played. Personally, I think it is serious. If it is a problem with my specific 650, WONDERFUL, I'll just send it back to Paul to get it fixed/replaced. Else, it is a BUG that probably won't be fixed and not an unimplemented feature ('cause the other aux outputs work just fine). I'm leaning towards bug because Paul never said, "you know what, I can't replicate that on mine, maybe you should send yours in for replacement", especially because I've brought this up many times (since 2007).

cc's to control aux1. When I say quit responding I mean that the outputjacks do not transmit a signal - the midi LED still responds to midi. One of two things happens once the 650 is in this state.

1) If I perform the following actions, then the 650 begins to respondto midi again (however it will lock up again if I send midi cc's toaux1)

-VoiceGroups 2 - 4 are set up exactly like group 1 except that thePBends are set to 0, and the Aux Midi CC's are set to different values(13, 14, 15).

I send CC1 to Aux 1 all the time, that's all I use it for. I'm using it in monophonic mode, perhaps the problem happens when using the 650 as a multi-channel converter.

I thought that someone was re-writing the code for the 650?

On Feb 16, 2010, at 9:45 AM, Paul Schreiber wrote:

a) CC messages are in the menu tree, but ∗not∗ implemented in the code. It's not a "bug", it's a feature that is/was not implemented.

b) external 'analog clock' (not MIDI clock) to synch the arpeggiators is flakey. It seems to work OK at lower speeds, say < 4Hz. MIDI clock is fine.

If anyone wishes a refund, just return the unit and I'll write a check. My expectations for Jeffrey fixing this is low.

In brief, the two that I experience are:
1) Sending cc's to one of the aux outputs (aux 1, me thinks) causes the 650 to crash
2) Sending the external clock input a signal causes it to crash
