I have one of these and find it’s really useful for creatingdistortion as well as metal/glass/wood like percussive sounds.

Much more technical than you often get with these sorts of things.
An incredible plug for MOTM as the "train spotting" kids try tofigure out what he's using.
MOTM needs a blog and that should get posted there.
Speaking of train spotting, can anyone shed some light on some of the"non-traditional" modules he highlighted at the top of his rack?

AKorg MS-20 has ∗two∗ filters in series: Low-pass followed by high-pass. So, tobe a "true" MS-20 setup, you need the 2 modules.
