Subject: RE: [motm] paging John Rice - stackable rack cases

John -

I currently have a studio rack which provides 4 rows, but the button row is near the floor - so I am considering "starting over" w/ a rack case.

The cases you use... do you find it a hassle to patch modules which are in separate rack cases? Thanks!

Hi Erik,

They are EWI Tourcase from Audiopile:

I originally heard about them on Richard Brewster's site:

Here's a couple related threads on Muff's forum:

Hey John,

Didn't you post something about the rack cases you use for your MOTM
modular? I can't seem to find the posts from this year where yuo mentioned
the brand. Maybe it was on one of the other groups. Anyway, looking to get
at least 1 for now, several more in the future, but I remember the prices
being very good for the brand you found.

I think they were 10-1/2" deep. Do they fit power supply and modules easily?
Any info would be appreciated as I'd like to get something put together
before the Dallas area MOK.

Thanks,
Erik
