Insert "Can of worms" comment here...

There are issues with the 650 that will likely never see an update or resolution. Yours John is one of them, if even only in the category of stability. Sad indeed with respect to the promise of the unit, the superiority it could demonstrate above Kenton and the rest, and the lack of ownership we all feel has been demonstrated in many respects.

However, Paul has stated that anyone not happy with the unit overall can return it. I don't think many of us, even with all the bitching and moaning, have taken him up on that. I still have mine!

Hey group,

I was using my MOTM 650 tonight very simply with a MIDI keyboard in
1/1/1/1 mode ... it froze up & hung a gate, as it does sometimes, so I
rebooted it (as always) which usually fixes it ... however, this time
it didn't ... I just have a hung gate on output channel 1, and it
doesn't respond to any MIDI ... If I change the mode to anything other
than 1/1/1/1 mode (or modify any settings) eventually I get a "Hosed
Q3" message displayed on the screen, and I lose all button
functionality ... so I reboot the unit and begin this fun process again.

I can't find any mention of a "hosed" message in the manual, and a
google search for Motm 650 "Hosed Q3" returned no results.

Anyone else run into this?
