WOW Mike! What a beautiful synth and I'm sorry you have to sell it! :-(
I encourage interested parties to look at all of Mikes pictures, that
frame/rack is very awesome!!!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikest/sets/868154/I have no money or room for this unfortunately but I'll keep my eye out if
you posts that you are parting it out.
Best of luck!
John L Rice
PS - you have a minor typo in your listing. I'm assuming you meant to put
MOTM-820, not MOTM-420, for the lag processor?

Well, this has been a long time coming. It's time for me to face the music
and sell my MOTM rack :/ I can't even imagine how much time I logged putting
this together, designing the enclosure, acquiring patch cables, soldering.
So much soldering.
In the end, my ability to make music hardware far outstrips my ability to
produce music with it, and I can no longer afford to hold onto it for
sentimental reasons. Someone else with talent should be putting it to use.
I'd very much like to sell it in one piece, the system is almost completely
assembled. Just a few modules left to go. However, If I can sell the
enclosure first (and any number of modules with it), I would be up for
selling the remaining modules individually. The case was made by a master
woodworker friend, it's really really beautiful. Pictures don't do it
justice. It cost well over 1k to have made, but I could let it go for less.
Please, only serious enquiries. Feel free to make me an offer, and show your
math. If you're in the bay area, I can show it to you in person if you mail
me off list.
There are a few unassembled modules not listed here. I think an A/B
switcher, and another 440. The whole synth was spec'd out to function as a 3
voice.
